I feel the stellar rating here may be dominated by brunch; however, dinner was between 3 and 4. I had the baked oysters, carrot ginger soup, and the rack of lamb. This was all ok, nothing struck me as outstanding. The carot soup even closer to 3 stars and the lamb dish suffered from an overdose of bittersalt, an ingredient used to immitate charcoal grilled flavor. The profiteroles for dessert hit it out of ballpark, and I commend their drink menu listing multiple variations for Manhattans that pulled it all up again. Tilikum is a casual place and service was fine.

My friends and I got a reservation to get Saturday brunch and definitely recommend making them at least several weeks ahead of time. Since their menus change often, check their website for updated brunch menus. We ordered the Dutch babies in the classic flavor and seasonal savory flavor. Both were amazing and unlike anything you can get around the Seattle area, so it's such a treat! We all preferred the savory Dutch babies. I also got the eggs Benedict and it was so flavorful and fantastic. Service was lovely (our server was super fun and engaging) and overall had such a great time. They do have a 90 min dine -in period, but we found that to be plenty of time.

Recently visited again and it did not disappoint! I tried the mushroom omelette which was cooked perfectly and came with some veggies, grapefruit, and potatoes. The potatoes were well seasoned and crispy and the plate was a perfect balance of flavors/ textures. I also tried some of the baked eggs which were super yummy and a great choice if you're in the mood for something richer. They sat us very quickly and the servers were very prompt and kind as always.

I have had this place bookmarked forever, and I am so glad I finally came for brunch! Dutch baby is an absolute must-get. The moment I took the first bite, it was like a flavor explosion - screaming inside from pure joy! The fluffy texture combined with the delicate, golden-brown exterior is divine. Topped with some refreshing lemon and a drizzle of warm syrup, every bite is delightful balance of sweet and tangy. I couldn't help but think, "Why didn't I come here sooner?" This is definitely a must-do in Seattle. Remember to make a reservation! They get popular for a good reason, and you won't want to miss out on this incredible brunch experience.

How lucky we are to have found this gem! We wanted dinner and dad had Seattle and we're on our way to have some pizza when we spot at this place. So glad we did! We took a chance and walked in, and while all the tables were reserved, there were two spots at the bar. We jumped at the chance! The atmosphere of this place is definitely an intimate European bistro feel. I loved it immediately. Are bartender/server was amazing. I ordered my absolute favorite, and amaretto sour, and she asked if I would like the egg white. So few places give you the egg white or ask you if you'd like it. I said yes and I got to watch her do the whole thing. She was very generous with the spirits when she poured cocktails. They were amazing! You can look right into the kitchen and see the chef cooking. We enjoyed watching how he coordinated everything - - made sauces and cooked meat and had everything ready at the same time. It is such an art! The food was absolutely amazing! I got the double cut pork chop with Mashed potatoes, rapini, pickled pepper sauce. Hubby got the seared halibut with celeriac puree, celery, walnut, pomegranate, preserved lemon. Both were incredible! And, if you know me, I love a place that boxes your leftovers for you, which they did If you are in downtown Seattle, this place is a must. Make a reservation, because you may not be as lucky as we were to get a place at the bar, and clearly this place books up quickly.

We heard a lot of great things about this place online, so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try since it was within walking distance of the Space Needle. We arrived about 10 minutes before opening, and though reservations are required for a guaranteed spot, we got lucky and were seated right away at the bar. Honestly, those turned out to be the best seats in the house! Watching the chef work was so entertaining, an experience in itself. Now for the best part, the food! We knew we had to try the Dutch babies, so we went with both the sweet and savory options, and let me tell you the savory one was out of this world! I completely understand why this place is so loved. We also ordered the scramble plate, which was equally delicious. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. We had such a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend adding this spot to your list if you're in the area!

Everyone already seems to know about TPC because I searched for 11 months online before finally finding a miracle--a time slot on a Thursday! Love everything about this place--the people, the rotating weekly menu, the seasonality of the menu, and the fantastic homemade flavors that are especially unique and lovingly made--you can taste the difference! Chris and Irene have both been warm and thoughtful throughout the meals. Thanks to Chris for teaching us how to eat here more often than every 5 years or so. Oh, and don't sleep on the savory broccoli cheddar Dutch baby, that's what kept me trying for 11 months.

Tilikum Place Cafe doesn't really take walk-ins for brunch on the weekend (unless you're lucky that someone cancelled their reservation). It probably took me two months to finally get a Sunday brunch reservation here, but it's worth it. There aren't a lot of places in Seattle that make Dutch babies, which are the signature brunch item here. We got both the savory and sweet Dutch babies. The savory came with brie, bacon, figs, and onions, which gave it a rich flavor profile. The sweet Dutch baby came with blueberry and ricotta. It tasted more like dessert than breakfast, but it was delicious and didn't feel too heavy. We also got their iced latte which was pretty good as well. Aside from the Dutch babies, a few other tables around us also got the egg benedict, which looked very good as well - would definitely come back and try it!

This is a really good French brunch place with an incredibly friendly staff. While it can be pretty difficult to get a reservation here, we managed to snag one on a Thursday afternoon. We started with the French onion soup, which was comforting and flavorful. For our mains, we had the baked eggs and the savory Dutch baby. The baked eggs were my favorite--surprisingly, the green beans in the dish paired excellently with the whole dish, creating a unique and satisfying flavor combination. I was especially excited to try the savory Dutch baby, as it's the dish they're most known for. However, I found it to be just okay--not bad, but not quite as impressive as I had hoped. All in all, it's a great restaurant that's definitely worth giving a try! Despite the slight letdown with the Dutch baby, the overall experience was wonderful, and I'd gladly return.
